It has been only a week, but so much happened that it felt like a year. First of all, Cell group on thur was always great. I would like to thank God for speaking for me to Eric. At first I wanted to sing this particular song in cg. But somehow I didn't suggest to Eric, but again, somehow Eric decided to choose that song. It's not a common song that we'll sing in cg anyway, so I suppose it must be God's will.
Then weekend service was great, I enjoyed serving God so much again in Church. It was a blessing to everyone in the service as everything went well. Thank God for the chance to help out with other teams as well, I like meeting different ppl. After service....we had the largest animal game ever!! Can you imagine 20+ ppl playing Animal Game? It was really great! I would like to point out that prayers always work. The only thing is the delay in between, but it still always works. As you pray for others, I believe you'll be blessed as well. True enough, in the week, I did well for 2 tests and was surprised by the marks given to my team and I for a presentation. Even you did a lousy job, God can give you the favour of man when you trust in Him. His ways are higher than ours, remember? I'm in HK now....it's really COLD!! It've been only 10-15 degrees since I came back. It started to turn cold right on the day when I went home. I love and yet hate cold, I'm so confused over this, but I guess changes brings more life, so it's a gd thing. The next morning after I came back, I had a driving theory test. I only had 2hrs to study since I didn't have time, but thank God once again for being with me. I pass!! Heng ah... What a relief. Bought a few things after I came home, it seems like......I'm always the big spender at home. And I've no income despite I'm joining the 20s grp this year. That makes me feel really bad. Life.
Came back from chorus board training. I love ministry, I love serving God. Although it was learning something that I've already know quite a lot, yet the extra little info was very beneficial. It's a great time building on relationship with my team members and as a ministry.
Recently a guy name Joseph joined my team. He's kind of the exact opposite of me, although we have common thoughts as well. He's a very exciting person, speaks a lot in great excitement. Anything that happens, surely he will be the first to volunteer no matter what. So after the training, some of us went to kopitiam for a bite. It's amazing how he can talk to ppl, he can make ppl whom you've known and work with much longer, feel closer than you do. Words are powerful. It came to me later that.....what a girl really wants? #1 A man who can talk a lot, jokes a lot, make her happy, make things out of simple things to make her happy. Unnecessary to do a good job always, but tries his best always. Or #2 A man who is quieter but reliable, always does his job quietly and good, doesn't really know how to make things to make her happy, but yet tries his best, think of the future and has good plans and big dreams. Today is nice
"Today is nice."
This phrase somehow came to my mind, it's simple and nice. Probably it's nice 'cos it's simple. =p Today felt much better, probably God has already answered my prayers. I don't know...but I'm going to believe nevertheless. School is so boring...things that they teach, you can probably do as well if you read on your own. Remember the main characters of the 2 main actors in this movie? Often they were so tired, but yet they could not sleep. When they closes their eyes, thoughts always filled their mind.
It has been like that for a few days. My days had been turned upside down, sleeping very little, unable to fall asleep, staring into the air, the mind was cluttered with thoughts. My cry
So much had happened since I last posted in my blog. Nothing but of things that sadden my heart. I could not accept these things are real. Yesterday, I met her. The girl who have changed my life. As such was her great influence to me. It was July 2003 when I first saw her. A simple happy girl, so faithful, so joyful, so brave, so bold, so perfect, lacking nothing. Yesterday, at the seaside. I spoke to her, hoping she would open her heart. I looked into her eyes. She said nothing. My heart sank. In her eyes, I saw her longing for a shelter. Deep in my heart I wanted to say, "When you need a shelter, find me.", but I said nothing. My mind was like the crushing sound of the waves. Disturbed. My heart was like the rocks on the seaside. Crushed. How much I wished she would change her mind. How much I wanted to say to her, "Stay, don't go. We need you.". All I hope for is that, it's not to late to say "Come back". Tonight, I woke up in the middle of my sleep for my heart could not rest. I looked at the thousands of photos I have taken. There is no less than a thousand photos with her inside. I looked at the photos, memories filled my mind. Wasn't your laughter so true then? Wasn't your smile genuine? Don't you treasure all these happy moments that we shared? Your photo album is still half filled, won't you want to complete it? Tonight, I wish I can continue to take photos with you, filling albums after albums, all our life till heaven and earth parts you and me. decision
What a day.....it seems good at first, but still in the end it rained. ~hai.
Still it was a good day. The service was great. Thank God for his promise to us. He will never let forget us when we seek for his help. I felt that God was speaking to me during service just now. Jesus called for us, so we're saved. Now is the 2nd calling, to do his work. Can we answer Jesus on Judgement Day that we can answer "Yes!" when he ask us "Have you finish what I told you to do?". Or are you going to give excuses, reasoning or whatever? Now is the time for a decision to me. To end a 12yr of frequent flying to and fro SG HK, family or friends. Or do what God tells me to do. Ps. Ulf said, "There is always a sacrifice when you chose Jesus." It looks as though it's such a obvious decision. But it's hard to make. It's harder to go through. Ugly day.
12 November 2004. Ugliest day in my entire life so far. Since the beginning of today has been BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD.
Morning. Took a job, I could not do. Although he paid me, I'm so sorry, I took so freaking long. It was their holiday, they purposely opened the door for me who can't do a complete job. I'm angry and even more disappointed at myself. Fine...Afternoon. Lost a dollar for nothing, one moment there was 2 $1 in my hand, next thing I know is, why am I holding only one? Invited my best friend nicely to come tomorrow. "See first lar, see how lar, try lar" was my reply. Night... On the street came a Singnet guy from absolutely NOWHERE. Those survey thing again, I got farked by him for saying Singapore broadband is like 56K when compared. He wasn't defending Singapore network, but personal attack on me. Can't he just get OFF? Eric was right, he really hit me hard. The hard things that I could not speak out, he prayed for it. Thank him so much. Yet again, we must trust our Lord, our God. We got to have faith believe. Totally no doubt. So pure and holy. We need the holy spirit and do not want to hurt him.
We got to be strong, not allowing other's to affect our faith. We need to defense it. Eric was so right about me on Trust. I just can't trust... I don't know why I'm like that. But from the place where I came from, life is like that. It's an addional unwanted danger if we trust too much. Trust is as thin as a piece of paper there. Sometimes I even doubt my parents and myself, how much worse can it be? I needed to change. About my family and friends, how much I hated the situation whereby I'm stuck between either one and SG or HK. I'm so mad that I'm caught in this situation and frustrated I am. And I'm sicked and tired of it. 2 of my leaders said, "By faith, follow the Lord", but I guess I lack trust. =( It's such a hard decision to make. I invited quite a number of friends, but why are they just rejecting me? They always have plans and reasons one. I guess those are just excuses anyway. Why? a fine day
Good day of rest, first tasted during this holiday.
Went to visit a friend who just had an operation. The price of beauty is high sia, but I guess to all girls, it's worth it. It feels so good to excercise, had some 30km of cycling, SHIOK!! Wanted to go swimming, but I guess.......I'm meant for the land. It just seem so hard to get myself into the pool. It's always, "perhaps next time". Think for the future again, I really hate this. HK or SG ? Friends or family ? Beside that......army is another hinderance. To take Singapore Citizenship or take Hong Kong? Hong Kong is becoming more like a city of China day by day. I really really hate that, and seeing that happening really hurts me deep. I'm seeing my home being destoried!! Another problem is.......which course to go? Had a talk with my parents, they don't seem to know what's right either, 'cos none of the relatives or their friends know about it either. And the conclusion after the talk was......"You go find out and decide lar". What was that talk for then ?
Juslin was right, it's an important time to decide now. I should go to the path which God tells me to. That really needs A LOT of faith. Sometimes it's not what you always wanted, and when you have this, you must sacrifice something else. Why is life SO HARD???
